Questions
Straight answers.
What do I need to have ready?
Your logo if you have one, a few photos, and the basics: what you sell, where you are, your hours. If you don’t have good photos, I’ll tell you exactly which ones to take on your phone.
Do I own the website?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name, and the content and code are yours. If you ever want to move on, you take everything with you.
What does hosting cost?
For most small business sites, hosting is free on the services I use. You pay for your domain name, usually around $10–20 a year, directly to the registrar.
Can I update the site myself?
If you’ll be changing things often, like a class schedule or a menu, I can build you a simple page to do it yourself (part of Custom). Otherwise the care plan covers small edits.
Do you only work with local businesses?
No. I work with businesses anywhere. Calls, design reviews and feedback all happen over video and email.
